Bothmer Gymnastics is a movement training program developed by Von Fritz Bothmer according to the indications given by Rudolf Steiner about child development. Starting from the question ‘What is true human movement? ‘Bothmer’s work was born out of observing the children move in their different stages of development.
The exercises trace the archetypal movement for each stage and is rooted in the belief that each child is a spiritual being in a physical body. The main aim of this curriculum is to help this spiritual being have a healthy incarnation into its chosen physical body.
